What is C.O.P.S.?
Community On Patrol in Schools
Cleveland ISD’s Community on Patrol in Schools (C.O.P.S.) is a volunteer program designed to involve parents, extended family, business partners and community members in a collaborative approach to reinforce safety and security in our secondary schools.
C.O.P.S. will provide an “extra pair of eyes” in our schools by serving as hall monitors, assisting with class changes, positively engaging with students during breakfast and lunch and encouraging them to make good choices.
Volunteers must:
Pass a Background Check
Be 18 or Older
Have a Valid ID
Complete the Cleveland ISD Volunteer Application
