Middle School Band

The middle school band program is a great way for young students to learn and improve their musical skills while having fun and building relationships with their peers. Students typically begin by learning the basics of music theory, note reading, and instrument care. As they progress, they'll have opportunities to perform in concerts, festivals, and other events both inside and outside of school. They'll also be encouraged to participate in band competitions and to work towards earning honors and awards. With the support of dedicated teachers and parents, middle school band programs inspire creativity, discipline, and a love of music that can last a lifetime.

Students develop a mindset of pursuing excellence in both individual and group endeavors in a healthy and positive environment. The Cleveland Band has earned multiple awards in both marching and concert band. In 2021 the Royal Braves Band Wind Ensemble was a demonstration band at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago, IL for clinician Dr. Leroy Osman.  The High School Bands are successful in both UIL Marching Contest and UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest.
