We will be accepting donations from citizens and community members for our students and families in need. Donated items will be distributed on each campus.
Please drop off any and all clothes, shoes, socks, toiletries, personal hygiene items, cleaning products, etc. to the nearest CISD campus or to Central Office beginning Monday morning, May 6th. All donations will be distributed to families in need.
We will be accepting donations all week at each location from 7:30AM - 5:00PM.
Any Cleveland ISD family that has been affected by the floods and is in need of assistance or items, please email info@clevelandisd.org with student names, campus, and basic needs. Alternate bus routes are being taken to avoid high water roads, causing a slight delay to some of our bus routes this afternoon. Thank you for your patience.
Buses will begin arriving shortly on elementary and middle school campuses. As buses arrive, we will begin dismissing students. Parents are still able to pick up their students if it is safe for them to do so.
CISD Families - Please be aware that the district is currently considering an early release today. However, flood waters in certain areas of the district need to recede before we are able to get transportation to campuses in a timely manner. We will continue to keep you informed on any decisions that are made.

CISD Families - Please be aware that the rain is causing bus delays this morning. The district will be doing a second and third bus run throughout the morning and will accept late students with no penalty. As always, we encourage parents to make decisions that are in the best interest of their family.

CISD Families - As of right now, Cleveland ISD plans to be open tomorrow, Thursday, May 2nd. However, we are continuously monitoring the weather and will inform families if anything changes by 5AM tomorrow morning.
The district Immigrant speaker event originally taking place tomorrow, 5/2 at the Civic Center at 10AM has been postponed.
Due to rising flood waters in the Cleveland area affecting numerous staff and families, all Cleveland ISD campuses and facilities will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. The district will assess the ongoing situation and notify the community about Thursday. Please be safe and we hope to see everyone back at school on Thursday, May 2nd.
Due to flooding concerns, Cleveland ISD will be closing all campuses for the day. Transportation will be provided beginning at 2PM for CHS and C9 students, followed by middle school students, then elementary students. Parents are able to come to campuses now to pick up their child. We will keep families informed on the situation regarding classes tomorrow and the rest of the week.
