The QR code and link to purchase the Field Day shirts are no longer valid due to the shirt colors changing per teacher. All sales were issued refunds and parents will need to repurchase those shirts once the new link is shared later today.

Southside Elementary STAAR Testing Update! Due to the eclipse and subsequent school closure for 4/8, we will be moving our Reading STAAR test to Thursday, 4/11. Debido al eclipse y al posterior cierre de la escuela 4/8 trasladaremos nuestra puebra STAAR de lectura al 4/11.

It is not just "an eclipse", this will be "THE ECLIPSE" for Texas. Cleveland ISD has decided to close for Monday, April 8th to allow students and staff time to be home with family & friends to experience this once in a lifetime learning opportunity event to make memories, take pictures, make videos together. The next eclipse is not until 2044 and it will be nowhere near Texas. Please remember to follow the recommended safety protocols for properly viewing the solar eclipse.
