Last week, members of our Bond Planning Committee gathered at Cleveland Ninth Grade Center to kick off the bond planning process! The committee will convene biweekly through December 12th and give their input on what projects the district should pursue for the upcoming bond proposition that will appear on the May 2025 ballot.
During this kickoff meeting, committee members were given a brief district overview and bond history by Superintendent McCanless and our partners at PBK Architects. In addition, demographic and enrollment data was presented by Rocky Gardiner of Zonda, and Cleveland ISD CFO, Karen Billingsley, spoke on the basics of public school finances.
Thank you to all community members who signed up to take part in this dedicated committee!
