Graduation 2024

In an all-embracing theme of support and legacy, the Cleveland High School Class of 2024 marked their graduation with a memorable ceremony held at the M.O. Campbell Education Center in Aldine, Texas on May 24, 2024.

From the heartfelt speeches to the mix of nostalgia and excitement for their futures, the Class of 2024 graduation was more than a ceremony - it was a celebration of resilience, achievement, the determined spirit of the students and legacies left behind. Historian, Kale Wood, said, "I want to live in a world where someone plants a tree, not so they can be in the shade of it, but so the next generation can."

Salutatorian, Sana Bham, emphasized the importance of making an impact on the world. "We are all looking up at the same sky, like the endless stars, there are endless possibilities ahead."

Valedictorian, Oscar Sosa, JR, delivered a heartfelt speech focused on gratitude and personal growth. Oscar express his deep appreciation for the support of his teachers, family and friends, highlighting the crucial role they played in the his success. Addressing this fellow classmates, Oscar said, "We are the same, we are all multitalented people, with different skills, and abilities, though we took different paths to get here we stand together..."

One of the most remarkable achievements celebrated during the ceremony was the collective $5.1+ million in scholarships awarded to the graduating class. This staggering amount not only emphasizes the academic excellence of the students but also highlights the dedication of the school’s faculty in preparing them for higher education and beyond.
