Esteem Journey

The State of Texas requires school districts to provide instruction that will educate and allow students to develop and sustain health-promoting behaviors throughout their lives.  The School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) has recommended and Cleveland Independent School District has approved the Esteem Journey as the required curriculum to provide to students an evidence-based, medically accurate, proven effective program that adheres to the Texas Health TEKS.

Research shows that parent engagement in their child's decision making skills is closely linked to better behavior, higher academic achievement, and enhanced social skills.  Parent engagement also increases the likelihood that children and adolescents will avoid unhealthy behaviors.

PARENT PREVIEW NIGHT WILL BE HELD ON: TBD (In-Person or Zoom)
