Training and Continuing Education for Board Members

Each Board member must complete training and continuing Education that is required by the State Board of Education (SBOE), and the board president must publicly announce whether each board member has met their training requirements.  The announcement must be made at the last regular meeting of the board before an election of trustees and the regular meeting minutes must reflect whether each Board member has met, exceeded, or been found deficient in completing their continuing education requirements as of the date of the meeting.
